In today’s digital age, video production has become an essential skill for various purposes, particularly given the widespread popularity of social media. Video editing empowers individuals to tell stories, convey messages, and evoke emotions through social media. Video editing is the process of manipulating and arranging video footage, audio and visual effects to create a cohesive and engaging vide. It involves tasks such trimming, cutting, sequencing, adding transitions, applying effects, and integrating audio elements to enhance to overall quality and narrative of the video.
The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), along with TESDA Region XI and Kor-Phil Davao, trained four (4) CITC employees along with other participants from different agencies and offices in Basic Video Production and Editing. The course took place at TESDA XI Regional training Center – Kor-Phil Davao from January 23 to 26, 2024.
This four-day training comprise the introduction of tools and editing software available in the market, maximizing mobile cameras and techniques in capturing videos, and storytelling principles. The participants have gained the confident and competence to unleash their creating potential and produce compelling video content that resonates with audiences across various platform through a combination of theoretical lectures, practical demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.
At the culmination of training, participants proudly unveiled their group masterpiece. Bringing together the diverse skills acquired in storyboarding, videography, and editing, they transformed the session’s learnings into captivating mini-movie premieres.
